THE DIVINE GRIND: One thing that has been consistent on the #JusticeOrElse Tour is that The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan LIGHTS UP even more when he’s addressing, in the presence of and approached by young people. It’s a touching sight to see. He is in love with them and they can feel it, even if they had never heard of him prior to their first encounter with him. You can see in their expressions that there is something magnetic about this man that makes them naturally gravitate to him. They feel his genuine love. They feel he is sincere when he says they are the greatest generation. They know he’s not faking like other so-called leaders. Over and over, he’s brought many teenagers and young adults to tears just by shaking their hands and hugging them. This spirit they feel can’t be manufactured. It’s of God. I captured this moment this past Wednesday in Memphis after The Minister concluded addressing hip hop artists. As always, people rushed to the front to greet him and take photos. This is the little sister of 19-year old Darrius Stewart, who was killed by a White Memphis police officer. The Minister met with his mother and family to provide comfort and support. What a beautiful man.
