THE DIVINE GRIND: No matter how much energy he exerts, he’s always willing to GIVE MORE.

THE DIVINE GRIND: The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan literally hit the ground running yesterday during Day 1 of his #JusticeOrElse Tour stop in St. Louis. He had back-to-back-to-back meetings before his address to local politicians and pastors. That was followed by a few more back-to-back meetings. No break whatsoever. However, no matter how much energy he exerts, he’s always willing to GIVE MORE.

This shot was at the conclusion of his address. The Minister was greeting the many pastors and politicians and all of sudden spotted this brother who came into the room at the end who wasn’t dressed in a suit and tie; he was in jeans and a tanktop. He was standing a little afar off and The Minister said “Brother I ESPECIALLY want to shake your hand.” Brother had a huge smile and the Minister had an even bigger smile.

Interestingly, in his message before this moment, The Minister said, “Jesus referred to the little people as his brethren”

What a man…..

THE DIVINE GRIND: This man does not know the meaning of slowing down. This shot definitely reflects his mindset of keeping it moving and not wasting time. I couldn’t help but notice how much he gets done in a short amount of time. I captured this shot in early June on the first leg of The Honorable @LouisFarrakhan’s #JusticeOrElse Tour. We were on the road in route to New York from Philadelphia, but made this stop in New Jersey for an important private meeting he had scheduled. The meeting didn’t last long but the way he was teaching, his words will undoubtedly have a long-lasting impact on those in attendance. He once again shook more hands, listened to what some wanted to share, took photos and gave more encouraging words to others in the room and then it was time to go. We get back on the road and arrive in New York. Some might’ve expected him to rest. Guess what? He ended up doing back-to-back interviews with The Breakfast Club and Sway in The Morning Shows that SAME DAY at the hotel. Not to mention meetings afterwards… Hosting people for dinner….man, what an inspiration.

THE DIVINE GRIND: Birdman’s words to Farrakhan: “We ALL Admire and Look Up to You more than you know.”

THE DIVINE GRIND: This morning I was reflecting on being blessed to be at dinner with The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on multiple occasions during the on-going #JusticeOrElse. I was at the table in Atlanta when Birdman was there. This was the same day The Minister had addressed hip-hop giants at Tree Sound studios. One of the things in particular I was reminded of was when we were sharing with The Minister the response of the artists and youth online to him in particular the interaction between him and Young Thug. And Birdman said to The Minister, “This is what we need. We need that. We ALL Admire and Look Up to You more than you know. You’d be surprised.” One thing I noticed in The Minister’s reaction to those words was he sat back in his chair and looked down with an expression of humility by what Birdman had just said. He didn’t become arrogant at all about. He instead started talking about the greatness of Birdman and all of the artists he had met and addressed. He lifted them up more. See, that’s the Farrakhan Way. That’s The Divine Grind.

THE DIVINE GRIND: This definitely reflects the pace of The Minister throughout: NON-STOP.

THE DIVINE GRIND: Out of the thousands of pictures I took while being blessed to be with The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s delegation on the #JusticeOrElse Tour, I believe this is one that definitely reflects the pace of The Minister throughout: NON-STOP. In this shot he’s entering Metropolitan AME Church in DC on June 24th for the leadership breakfast hosted right before the official press conference.

While on tour, I witnessed this man and his staff work so many early mornings and extremely late nights to get things done. In every city, The Minister delivered multiple 2hr+ public addresses (sometimes in the same day), greeted countless people, hosted meetings with NOI staff, met with community leaders who are on board with 10/10/15, hosted as many as he could (family, staff & celebrities) for dinner while doing MORE teaching & listening during that time, greeted/thanked hotel staffers, law enforcement and others who helped to make our staff comfortable, more meetings, delegated assignments, took phone calls during the meetings, had more speaking engagements, entertained private guests and so much….and that’s just some of that which I knew about so just imagine all of the things I DON’T know that happened 🙂 This is what an 82-yrs young lion does in A DAY. What excuse do I/we have? None. This has been an unforgettable experience and I will definitely be sharing more.

THE DIVINE GRIND: That’s Sensei!

THE DIVINE GRIND: During the past several weeks on the road for the #JusticeOrElse Tour, I saw this look frequently on the face of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, as he arrived at an engagement to address the people. I’d watch him step out of the vehicle with a serious look of focus, a gentle yet forceful spirit and readiness to accomplish the objective according to God’s Will. Everyone around him would have the same look and energy as well. He’s contagious… No game playing… A no nonsense demeanor…It was a sea of men walking from the vehicles in BATTLE MODE with The General to get that work in. The Focus of Farrakhan.

In this shot, The Minister is entering Tree Sounds Studios in Atlanta on June 21 to address hip-hop giants. After his initial meeting with the host & lead organizers, I saw a few more people shaking his hand. Then at a certain point he said, “I am ready..” He entered the main room and would go right into a message that would further confirm what Kanye said “That’s sensei…” May you all be blessed with a day full of focus.

THE DIVINE GRIND: The Minister is such a PHENOMENAL LISTENER.

THE DIVINE GRIND: On Sunday in Atlanta, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was invited to address Hip-Hop artists. The gathering was hosted at Tree Sounds Studios. Malissa “Mali” Hunter was the host and prior to The Minister speaking, she presented him with this special violin. She said she had just found out that The Minister played the violin. As a lover of his music, immediately he started tuning up the violin! And then we watched as he listened to Mali tell aspects of her life story. The Minister is such a PHENOMENAL LISTENER. It doesn’t matter who it is, he is always looking to learn. Interestingly at the conclusion of the Hip-Hop gathering one sister stood up during the Q/A portion and told The Minister that she had never met a man who was willing to die for her and he doesn’t even know her. The Minister replied “I do know you. When I see you, I know who I am looking at. When I see you, I bow because I see the God in you.” What a teacher…
